Such a scale model is quite possible, but there are certain logistical difficulties involved (your calculations are correct, and should tell you why).

Building a true-scale model of the solar system is often used as a demonstration lab for science classes. There's nothing like putting a marble-sized earth 75 meters or so from a 3-foot sun to put things into perspective...

So the answer is yes, such models do exist, but not as permanent exhibits! At least not that I am aware of.

[Moderator's note: some Internet searching led me to a couple of permanent scale model solar systems. One is in Eugene, Oregon, another in Ithaca, NY. There are probably more -- and it might be fun to build one in your home town!]
