Subject: Being a male, am I able to provide the cell needed to produce twins.

I am curious how twins are devoleped biologically.  I have been told that 
it is my generations ability to have twins, and I have also heard that The 
twin gene is not made of by the male!? I am very curious and if you have 
any scientific evidence can you please help me out. p.s. my friend made my
