How exactly does a weather vane work? Also, I made a weather vane for a
science project and I had to label all of the parts. What would call the
part that comes out from the base main part of the weather vane and you
connect the arrow to? To make it more understandable, I used a kleenex box
as the main part. Then I made a hole in the middle of the box and put a
pencil in it. Then I put a pin through a straw and into the eraser of the
pencil. What would you call the pencil.
