Trevor, It is very unlikely that a big earthquake would hit the state of Indiana. The reason is that most large earthquakes occur where the plates of the earths crust meet and bump together. And in the United States one of these places where a couple of plates (North American Plate and Pacific Plate) touch together is in California, The San Andreas Fault. Which is why Ca. has so many earthquakes. Indiana however, is in the middle of these one plates (North American Plate. Therefore, earthquakes occur far less frequently and with much less strength. But remember that the earth is a dynamic system and that anything is possible, no matter how remote. For more info. check out
