Hi Jennifer, Based on information in Deep River Jim's Wiidemess Trail Book, the rate at which crickets chirp varies linearly with the temperature. At 59°F, they make 76 chirps per minute, and at 65°F they make 100 chirps per minute. You need to go to all the sites I have listed in order to put your Science Fair Project together. http://www.ent.iastate.edu/imagegal/orthoptera/ http://www.ncs.cathedral.org/students/young/projects/caroline.html http://ezra.mts.jhu.edu/~naomi/insects/crickets.html http://dwb.unl.edu/calculators/activities/Cricket.html http://www2.links2go.com/more/...nic.net/~melissk/crickets.html http://www.sonic.net/~melissk/crickets.html#Introduction http://www.desertserpents.com/cricket.htm Have fun gathering all your information for your Science Fair Project about Crickets.
