Many of my patients ask me how long common items in their home are
infective if a sick person touches them. These items would be things such
as doorknobs or telephones in a common household situation. Room temp of
about 75F and not too humid or dry. Sometimes these items can't be
sprayed with a disinfectant and they want to know how long to avoid
touching them. I, unfortunately can't answer them.
