Yes, there are tropical cyclones in the Southern Hemisphere. They occur in the south Pacific and south Indian Oceans, occasionally affecting New Zealand, Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia, Madagascar, and parts of Africa. Due to the Coriolis force, they rotate clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. By the way, the rotation of water going down a drain in a sink or toilet isn't determined by the Coriolis force. It is determined by the shape of the basin and the motion of the water in it.
