Subject: What effect do bile salts have upon the rbc membrane?

Hi, To find info about the individual items : red blood cells and bile, is 
fine, but could you tell me the physiological damage that is inflicted upon 
the plasma membrane of a red clood cell by bile salts within the body.
    To clarify i.e what do bile salts physically do to the bilayer and do 
they actually penetrate the membrane?
