Please clarify whether bubblegum is considered plastic or elastic.  My 
science fair project is to discover which bubblegum is the stretchiest and 
how sugar, sugar substitute, temperature, chewing, etc. affects this.  How 
can I set this up in a scientific and interactive fashion?
