This is a re-submitted question. The question is part of a science fair 
project for a group of hearing-impaired students. They will be "splashing"
the following liquids - milk, soda, juice, cooking oil, and water.
We have not been able to find research information at an elementary level 
about this topic. Please help! Thanks
