I'm doing a Chemistry research project to whether or not there is sugar in

The similar answer already on your site doesn't help me on my Chemistry project 
one bit I need to know what
Chemical reaction takes place to cause benedicts solution to turn red, not what
kinds of sugar it will work for.  So I would like you to please answer my
question.I still have it written below
