Dear Chun

Do not think in proportions when you deal with pH!
The pH scale is logarithmic.  
For example, benzoic acid is 99.9 % nonionized at pH = 1
At pH 2 it is 99 % nonionized, at pH 3 it is 90 % nonionized,
And at pH 5 it is 50% nonionized.

I suggest that you read about the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation.
