I learned through Web search that David V. had an unsuccessful bone marrow 
transplant before he died at age 12.  Of what did he die? How long did he 
live after coming out of the bubble? Did a common or opportunistic 
infection end his life? This question was generated by watching a John 
Travolta movie about Boy in the Bubble with SCIDS.
