The WBC counts differ with different strains of mice, but are in the 3-7,000/mm3 (cubic millimeter). A list of strains and their characteristics can be found below:

Swiss Webster 3000 +/- 1000
BALB/c        6900 +/-  900
B6D2F1        6600 +/- 1500
