I did a science fair project on household snow melters. As a result it
turned out that salt was the best snow melter. However salt is not
evvironmentally friendly. In the spring when the snow melts the salt
dissolves and starts drying up the plants in the soil. I know I could find
this out in a library or something, but i tried that and I found nothing.
Even after searching your library.
I need this very soon. In about two days or even sooner. Sorry if I'm
pushy, but I'm sitting on pins and needles to know the answer. I need to
know if baking soda has any effect like salt does on the environment, that
would make it a "not environmentally friendle" substance.
Thank you
Jasmina
