Hi! I'm french student in chemistry at Napier Uni(UK) so please pardon me
for my english! I have to analyse steel samples using different methods in
order to compare them. I must find out the composition of the samples. I
already know that i must analyse Fe, Cu, Zn, Cr, Mg ang maybe W and Va. My
binomial and I have selected 2 methods of analysis: Atomic
Emission/Absorption Spectroscopy and gravimetric techniques. The former
methods doesn t present much problem, but the latter does. Do we have to
separate these metalic cations before the analysis? How can we do and what
do we need for that?
Thanx very much indeed for an answer!
Yan
