MadSci Network: Astronomy |
ok, so you say..."Crazy kid, what are you talking about?" Think about it. An atom is a nucleus w/ electrons flying around it in set patterns, right? Well, then couldn't the nucleus be our sun? "Yes, but where are the protons and neutrons," you say. They are already there. The sun is made up of compounds and matter so the sun has to have protons and neutrons in it, and since the sun is so dense the planets revolve around it proves that it has the most protons and neutrons. With that in mind the planets become the electrons. The empty space is the same that would be between the very atoms that make up compounds in our bodies just on a different scale... we can be a part of something bigger than we can imagine. This might sound dumb to some people, ok most people, but it's something that will make you think when you look at the stars. ~Thank you for your time.
