did each one know what the other was thinking?  does the theory of 
evolution absolutely depend on genetics as we understand them now?  it 
seems to me that darwin must have known about genetics in order to come up 
with his theory of evolution.  am i right?  how can i find more 
information about this topic?  (genetics AND evolutionary theory)
