I am isolating eye colour pigments - red and brown from a fruit fly. I have 
thousands of flies for analysis, but all the methods are given for 
immediate isolation of the pigments. I want to know how I could preserve 
the heads so to avoid faint of the fluorescence? Thanks in advance
