Recently I noticed that I have a noticable adam's apple.  I am a girl, so 
this was slightly distressing.  One archive explained that an increase in 
the size of males' laraynxes causes the appearance of the adam's apple.  
Is it common for girl's to have this structure also or am I some kind of 
anatomical freak?
