In researching vasectomies, I read a brochure from the Couple to Couple
League (www.ccli.org) that indicated that an autoimmune response to his own
sperm could result after a man has had a vasectomy. I have searched medline
and other online databases, and can find no information that supports that
assertion. The brochure stated that diseases like diabetes and MS were
possible. The brochure gave references, but mostly to old (circa 1970s)
studies. Has anyone else heard of this? Have there been any new studies?
Thanks!
