I know that during stress glucocorticoids enter the brain, enter neurons 
with appropriate receptors, and act on gene expression.  I can not find 
information about whether ADRENAL norepinephrine and particularaly, 
epinephrine enters the brain and acts on neurons.  I was told that epi does 
not, but I have not been able to confirm it.
