How can the universe be infinite in extent when it began as a finite
point a finite time ago? Being infinite and expanding forever makes sense -
- so does finite
and unbounded, but that is not the same as infinite extent. It seems that
no matter how old the universe is, it's volume would be finite. Am I
missing something?
