Subject: Can I halt the Microwave Oven cooking process by 'jarring' the food?

Everyone knows that food removed from a microwave oven continues to cook
for a period of time after being removed from the oven due to microwaves
continuing to travel through the food. My question is, if I 'slam' the food
onto the countertop do I halt the cooking process?
