Is there much useless/outdated info on these chromosomes or is it all 
important?  If not useful, why so many?  If useful, why isn't the orgamism 
more complex?

These are questions brought up by a 10th grade biology class that I (the 
teacher) did not know the answer to.  Thanks for your help.
