I am studying complex ions in my chemistry class such as hexacyanobisethyladamideferrate.... and was wonder just how complex these ions can get. I know my question may seem rather ambiguous. Im not sure if this question may fall under the categories of macromolecules or proteins. And for that matter what is a macromolecule. I know diamond and other crystals can be considered just one big molucule but are there compounds (not polymers) that are really big?
