i have more insight below on this matter...
For more detail i would like to know the answer to this
question below..
If a newly-wed couple both have brown-eyes and they're homozygous and the
couple's parents all have brown-eyes and are homozygous
and all the grandparents all have brown-eyes and are probably
homozygous can the newly-wed couple produce a child with blue eyes even
though both of the couple's families all have brown-eyes as
dominant and are probably homozygous ? if the child can have blue-eyes,
what are the chances/odds ?
---What does it mean to be homozygous ? if 2 grandparents are
both homozygous, are their children and grandchildren homozygous
too ?
- what does homozygous have to do with purebred ? can 2
families(grandparents then children then grandchildren)
who are homozygous (with regards to brown-eyes) produce children
with blue-eyes ?
i would really appreciate it if i could get some help on this
matter, it is confusing for me,
thanks
