Well, if you have seen a humming bird, you must have noticed it's beak. It has a long, thin and slightly curved beak. This beak is an adaptation of the bird, for it thrives on nectar of flowers. Nectar is the main food for the bird. Also, the nectar is made by the flowers, though even I don't know how, but not by the humming bird. You might also like to know that the humming bird can fly backwards as well as forwards.
