I am doing a GCSE Physics investigations concerning the rate of descent of a parachutist. Despite looking at the archives, the different formulae given, has made me even more confused. I need the exact formula for the terminal velocity including explanations of the algerbraic symbols. Also, what is the connection between the formula and the mass of the parachute and the acceleration of gravity. Thank you.
