I present live science programs at the Museum and this is the experiment I
wanted to double check. I have a beaker with tap water and the indicator
Bromothymol Blue. The indicator is blue indicating basic conditions, when
I exhale into the water, with a straw, the indicator changes to yellow
indicating an acid. Have i just made the solution acidic with the CO2 from
my exhale.
