Please help, I have read through the information in your archives regarding the subject of THALLIUM. Every piece of information I have encountered via library, encyclopedia and internet (Mad Scientist Network site included) services leads me to understand and believe that THALLIUM has absolutely no place being anywhere near the human body; however, I am scheduled to have a THALLIUM STRESS TEST performed in the near future to evaluate heart function (unexplained chest pains). All medical personnel involved in administering this test express complete surprise and disinterest (to the point of laughing at my concerns) when asked about the safety and presence of this Atomic Element in the human body during and after this test. I know the test as a TEST is safe, but what about the injection of the THALLIUM into the body? Is it carcinogenic, toxic, etc? Are there any long term effects? Thankyou SO much for your assistance and expertise in this matter!
