I read about a new prototype sail. Instead of a classic fabric sail, this
uses a modified airplane wing. Both an airplane wing and a sail use lift,
so this seems appropriate. Supposedly it uses a computer to decide the
optimal position for maximum pull, and is even fast enough to pull a boat
up onto hydrofoils. I would like to know more about it
