Hi, I'm wondering at what height a low earth orbiting space based mirror
in
a polar orbit (so it goes over the south pole) would have to be above the
earth in order to reflect sunlight down on the s. pole during the southern
hemisphere winter when the sun can't even be seen from the ground? 2)
Also I'm wondering how long such a low earth orbiter would be visible to a
fixed observer on the ground, what its flight path would look like, and
any more information on such an object would be helpful. thanks
