Well, that is a very good question!
Did you know that are bodies are made up almost 98% of water!
Every cell in our body is made up mostly of water. Cells are like fluid-
filled sacs or water-balloons.
Water is also required for many chemical reactions in the body. We use
water to help breakdown food that we eat to get energy from the food.
If you like science- you might want to learn about the different
chemical reactions our bodies make to breakedown sugar (all food is
converted to sugar or fat or protein) to make energy. Or you may want to
learn about the very special properties of water. Water is such an
important molecule in life becuase it has qualities unlike other molecules.
Good luck,
Elena Rodriguez
