I don't think so .....
In theory probably yes...we can ...but, because no hospital or university
has ever tried something like this (it would be very unethical..(yes I know
aborts is in a way unethical to)) I don't think we are (yet) able to keep
an embryo alive. But what is your definition of an embryo? ...remember that
in a lot of countries you're not allowed to abort embryo's ...but only the
fetus ...
And one thing to think about: who's going to give his/her baby (fetus) for
testing (survival testing) ...? and finally, if we can keep them alive
who will adopt them ? (I don't know how it is over there but over here
..we are glad we can finally adopt someone from Korea or Bolivia… It's
very hard to adopt someone from your own country)

Greetings
Dave

Admin note:
Much work has been done to try to "culture" mouse embryos outside of the womb.
While some early embryos can survive for a couple days in culture, none have been
shown to develop beyond that short time frame. Considering a human gestation
around 40 weeks, it would not be possible to keep a human embryo alive and
developing with our current understandings and technologies.
