I know there was a long debate over whether or not that meteorite from mars
contained signs of life. It would seem difficult to know what these "signs"
would be, though, if the life evolved elsewhere. So what are scientists
looking for? How can they be sure that their view of life, based on our own
experience here, is not too nar
