Hi,

Why do some birds like the peacock, ocellated antbird and great argus 
pheasant have eye-spots? Do they serve any purpose apart from being 
decorative? Are there other animals with eye-spots too? (Other than the 
light-sensitive bacteria and micro-organisms)
