I appreciate that a cell may not be as crowded as sometimes suggested 
(protein crystal?), but how does a bacterial protein synthesised on a 
ribosome get to where it is needed? eukaryotes use vesicles, but there's 
another problem - basically, why doesn't everything just gel-up?
