Hello Helen. I have to warn people reading this, that this is not to be used as medical advise. If you have had your stomach removed and you are having problems with your diet, you should see your doctor. People that have had a gastrectomy definitely do have special dietary needs. They must take in foods very slowly. They may need to take vitamins or nutritional supplements. They following links have a doctor's advice to a patient and a patient's experience. D octor Patient
