I asked a question about Megestrol Acetate and how it fights cancer in the
human body. I found the formula for this compount and thought that it
might be helpful to the person answering my question. This crystalline
solid chemically designated as 17a(acetyloxy)-6-methylpregna4,6-diene-3,20-
dione. The empirical formula is C24H32O4. I can't find any studies using
this drug on cancer patients, or how it works on the body to destroy
cancer cells. Thanks! Carolyn
