Message:

i have read some RNA purification protocol and LiCl was specifically used.
i wonder is LiCl working just as the function of salt in normal DNA
precipitation? and wont the DNA be precipitated out as well during the RNA
precipitation step with LiCl? or LiCl is more favourable in precipitating
RNA than DNA?
