I have two upside down bottle types, and another third with a needle. The smaller one(in the kitchen window), goes right along with the one with the needle. The bigger one, on the inclosed porch doesn't correspond. The pressure in the one on the porch doesn't change much at all. It is close to a creek. We are 650ft. above sealevel, in a hollow. I have used the upside down bottle type of barometer in alot of different places, with a variety of different sizes, and they always work. I have been using them for over 10 years. I am at a lost why the bigger one isn't working. I tried resetting it, but it doesn't change it. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the stream.
Re: Why would two barometers(bottles w/neck upside down in a glass)be different
