Genes can come in diffrent forms, or alleles, which may express themselves 
diffrently, such as the A, B, and O alleles for human blood type that can 
combine into four diffrent blood types.  What is the record for the most 
alleles known for any single gene?  For any gene in a mammal?  For any 
human gene?
