Hi unknown caller,

Height is more or less genetically predetermined, and you can get a fairly
good idea of how tall you will eventually get by plotting your height
sequentially every so often on "centile" charts. These are curves which
show the expected ranges of height at all ages, and, simply, if you are
tall as a child, and grow normally, you will tend to follow the
appropriate growth curve and end up as a tall adult. Similarly a small
child will tend to become a small adult.

165cm at the age of 15 years exactly puts you just about on the 50th
centile for boys (i.e. at that age about 50% of boys will be taller than
you, and 50% will be smaller), and suggests a final adult height of about
176cm. For girls, 165cm is on the 75th centile (i.e. 25% at that age will
be taller, and 75% smaller), and suggests a final height of about 168cm.

Forget about trying to grow taller - stick to a healthy diet and lifestyle
with plenty of exercise, and you'll grow naturally to be a fine and happy
person, whatever your final height!

Best wishes

Doc C-P
