Azul, I wish I had seen that show, blowing up icebergs sounds really cool !
I suppose one could use a torpedo to blow up an iceberg, especially 
today's torpedos which carry incredibly powerful warheads, some are even 
tipped with nuclear weapons. The only reason I can think of is the fact 
that dynamite is relatively inexpensive compared to the cost of a torpedo, 
which might cost more than a million dollars apiece. So my answer is : 
Either way would work , but one way is cheaper and less complicated.
