Hi. I was reading that many statues and strucures that are made of marble
have been suffering severe damage due to acid rain. I did some research
and found out that when limestone is mixed or put on a diluted acid, it
begins to bubble. So my question is,is limestone helpful or harmful, when
mixed with acid rain,to marble and is there any other way to protect
marble from acid rain. Thank you for your time and patience.
