I heard somewhere that the annoying buzzing sound from Culex mosquitoes is only coming from the males, while the females buzz is too high pitched to be heard by humans. Is that true? If it is, than here is the problem: From personal experience I know that mosquito buzz can drive you nuts during the night. So, if only the females need our blood, and if it's true that they can't be heard, than it must be the males who sing in my ear. Why are they attracted to me if they don't need my blood? Are they just after the females or are they also attracted to CO2 and body odor? Thanks in advance Tally
