I have read about hydrogen bonds and that these strong chemical
interactions yield a high specific heat capacity to water. I am curious as
to which other elements and factors contribute to materials' specific heat
capacities. Particularly, how can this be applied to practical
engineering of devices used in astronomy and space exploration?
