Free liquid itself forms into small drops held by surface tension, while the gas would still escape from high pressure into low pressure- out through the breach in the can lid. The gas woould escope out of the opened tin but since there is no gravity the effect would be a considerable thrust on the can and some propusion on the astronaut holding the can. This would not be a desirable situation in a space craft, and so not surprisingly has not been tried! Astronauts usually take non fizzy drinks from sachets through straws to avoid floating collections of liquid appearing all over the interior of the craft !
