Subject: why does the tapetum reflect green in my dogs eye?

i have a part austrailan shepard that has one eye blue and one brown. The 
brown eye reflects green in a flashlite and the blue eye reflects red. 
Does the blue eye have a tateum? if not, could this balance out the 
signals to the brain from the eye? His night vision seems to be good.
